Welcome back to madmusician.co.nr, which has been transformed into my “Musical Hub”.

It will include my Compositions, Musical CV and Musical Articles.

Latest News:

It has been an amazing couple of weeks.  Last Monday, I found out that I had won the HMC Young Composer Competition.  My anthem, This Lowly Ground, will be premiered at Liverpool Cathedral in October.  Then I spent three days in Gemini Studios, Ipswich, recording the new school Big Band CD.  This too was a really good experience, and hopefully the results will show the time and effort put in.  I took part in a concert for Woodbridge School at the beginning of this week, and then returned to the Studios to re-dub some keyboard parts for the CD.  I will update the site with some stuff about the Midsummer Soiree (plenty to write about there), and the SSYO concert which takes place tomorrow, at the beginning of next week.  Happy summer, all!

Very excitingly, the Groove Search online sequencer has now launched, meaning that you can remix all of the grooves (including mine).  If you do remix it, then please e-mail me letting me know, as I would love to hear what you have done with it.  All the ones I have heard so far featuring my groove (thus far only the remixes with “Scherzo” in the title) have been brilliant.  So please do check out the Philharmonia’s Sound Exchange website.

Latest Composition Upload:
Sadly, I couldn’t get Scorch to embed into WordPress, so there are no compositions uploaded.  If anyone knows how to do it, then please e-mail me.
